On a small island in feudal Japan, during a time of civil war and strife two unlikely heroes battle a growing evil while they come to terms with their own personal demons. The armies of the dark shogun Naga dominate the landscape, commanded by the merciless samurai, Hiro. Making matters worse is a recent alliance between Naga and a powerful ninja clan. Naga himself is growing more and more powerful as he becomes more immersed in mysticism causing a powerful darkness to spread across the land. Fighting this evil is a disgraced ronin and a shipwrecked foreigner. The ronin is Yoshiro, former retainer to Naga and now a wanted man. The latter is Eos, an enigmatic and quasi-immortal foreigner from the ancient world. Together they have become a force of vigilantism and sworn enemies of Naga's regime. Now, as Naga looks to secure a deal that would ensure his evil will dominate the mainland, Yoshiro and Eos must race against time and all odds to bring down his reign of terror once and for all.
